What This Policy Covers

We run this website so drivers in Houston, TX and the surrounding area can read about extended warranty and vehicle service contract options before they call. The site is informational. There are no accounts to create and no online payments, and the only way to reach us is a phone call, so very little information passes through the site itself.

This page explains what the site records on its own and what happens to the details you choose to give us over the phone.

What the Website Records

Like nearly every website, ours runs on a server that keeps ordinary logs. A log entry typically includes your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you asked for and the time of the request. We use these logs to keep the site working, spot broken pages and notice unusual traffic. They are not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and Basic Analytics

We use basic analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages people read most, such as the Car Extended Warranty or Auto Repair Warranty pages. That tells us which explanations are useful and which need work. The data is viewed in summary form, not visitor by visitor.

When you call for a free quote, you decide what to tell us. To price coverage accurately we usually ask about your vehicle: year, make, model, current mileage and sometimes the VIN, because age and mileage change which covered repairs a contract can include. We also take your name and a callback number so we can follow up on the quote you asked for.

How We Use and Share It

We use what you tell us to answer your questions, compare protection plans with you and set up coverage if you choose to go ahead. If you buy a vehicle service contract, the details needed to administer it go to the company that backs that contract. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to unrelated marketers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Children

This site is meant for adult drivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and nothing on the site asks for it.
